We’ve been sweet on the sounds of Australian/Swedish duo Say Lou Lou ever since contributor Alison D’Arrigo put “Julian” on her first Weekenders playlist for us back in May 2013. The twin daughters of Steve Kilbey of modern rock group the Church, Miranda Anna and Elektra June Kilbey-Jansson have been perfecting their refined electronic pop since 2012 debut single “Maybe You,” and have struck gold with new track “Nothing But A Heartbeat,” which you can listen to below.
The glistening single is the latest taste of debut album Lucid Dreaming, out April 6 via À Deux Records. The album was recorded in Los Angeles, London, and Sweden with a host of producers, including Liam Howe (FKA Twigs, Foxes), Hannah Robinson (Icona Pop, Lana Del Rey) and Jim Eliot (Ellie Goulding).
Tour dates are expected to be announced shortly, and hopefully we get a Boston date. The track listing for Lucid Dreaming is below, as well.
