Hand It To Her: Katy Perry gets Super Bowl ‘XLIX’ tattoo to celebrate her performance

In a move that was much smarter than that of the Seahawks fan that got his Super Bowl XLIX Champions tattoo earlier this season, Katy Perry got her own ink to commemorate last night’s game.

Of course, her tattoo, which she showed off via two Instagram posts a few hours ago, is more to mark her Halftime Show performance, which featured Missy Elliott, Lenny Kravitz, and what has become the most famous dancing shark ever.

The ink is a basic “XLIV” along her finger, noting the Super Bowl’s roman numerals for 49, and doesn’t have any New England Patriots logos or colors. But hey, that’s cool, because Super Bowl XLIV will forever be synonymous with a Patriots victory. And now it’s a permanent part of Perry’s body.

Catch up on the pop star’s live performance here.

I thought it would be appropriate to draw blood tonight… XLIX
