Video Action: Watch Petty Morals storm Allston to remind us it’s all ‘Just A Game’

There were a lot of battles going down over the weekend. The Revolution played (and lost) in another MLS Cup, the Patriots took on the Chargers in San Diego (and won), and that guy attempted to get eaten alive by an anaconda (we all lost). Before all that nonsense went down, however, Boston’s Petty Morals stepped up to remind us that this shit is all “Just A Game.”

The newer-wave punk band threw down the gauntlet in their new music video, directed by Jonas Em of Emvision Productions. Watch it below.

Things get a bit rowdy at the end, when the Morals’ take over O’Brien’s Pub in Allston in an old school throw-down.

Hopefully the ladies keep the peace this Thursday when they perform at the Boston Music Awards nominee party at Redstar Union in Cambridge alongside Feints and the Singhs. Petty Morals are nominated for Rock Artist of the Year in this year’s BMAs.

“Just A Game,” meanwhile, is featured on Anngelle Wood’s new Keep Safe Boston benefit compilation, a massive homegrown collection of 50 songs aimed to raise money for Planned Parenthood. The Keep Safe Boston release party goes down Wednesday at Brighton Music Hall. Details on that, and the Redstar gig, after the video jump…
