With the exception of Charli XCX’s double shot of “Boom Clap” and “Break The Rules, Lorde being Lorde, and the guy dropping dead off the dinner table during Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space,” the 2014 American Music Awards tonight have been a snooze fest.
The best moment of the night didn’t even involve the actual awards show live from Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre.
Nope, it involved Waka Flocka Flame’s AHHHHHHH-MAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY-ZING new television commercial for Pine Brothers “Softish Throat Drops,” which just aired on the ABC telecast.
That’s how you let ’em know, and how you soothe a sore-ass throat, no matter how you get it. Straight up!
