Breaking News: That band that’s known for cute, quirky videos has made another cute, quirky video

You knew this was about, OK Go, didn’t you?

The Chicago video-pop band is back with another clickable, likable, sharable video, this time for the song “I Won’t Let You Down,” and you might have already seen it on NBC’s Today. The track is the latest slice off this month’s new record, Hungry Ghosts, out now via Paracadute/BMG.

Here’s some background on it because we are too busy to type we just keep telling our friends they gotta watch this new OK Go video.

The clip, which can be viewed at okgo.net, was lensed in Japan’s Chiba Prefecture in August 2014. In preparation for the album’s release, OK Go approached Honda through their friend, creative director Morihiro Harano, with the idea to collaborate and produce a music video.

The resulting clip was shot using a custom “multi-copter camera” developed for the project. In OK Go’s signature style, the action is captured in one single shot. It was directed by OK Go’s Damian Kulash and Kazuaki Seki, with creative direction by Morihiro Harano (of Mori Inc.).

Honda lent the band the futuristic UNI-CUBs seen in the video. The UNI-CUB is a unique omni-directional driving wheel system that is currently in the development stage.

OK Go play the Late Show with David Letterman on November 11. Get psyched by watching their new video again and again and again below.
