No Furry Boots, No Glowsticks: Read the list of items banned from Sunday’s Mad Decent Block Party in Boston

Last Friday night at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland, two people died of suspected drug overdoses and 20 people were hospitalized while attending the Mad Decent Block Party. Now as the touring EDM party rolls into the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion tomorrow (Sunday) night, city officials and event organizers are taking precautions to prevent the Mad Decent death toll from rising any further.

Part of that precaution involves a beefed up list of items that fans will be unable to bring onto the Pavilion grounds. Some are obvious, like no drugs or weapons, and others are slightly less, like no “furry boots” and no glowsticks.

This is no Jersey Shore rave, kids. Among the artists scheduled to perform at the Boston edition of Mad Decent include Diplo (pictured above), Walshy Fire, Flosstradamus, DJ Snake, DJ Lunice, and Children of the Night.
