Veteran indie rock buds Weezer have teased a new track off their upcoming album Everything Will Be Alright In The End, which was produced by the Cars’ Ric Ocasek. “Return to Ithaca” is the lead offering from record, which will be out September 29 in the United Kingdom, and, we presume, the following day here in the good ol’ United States of America.
And it’s right on schedule: Weezer Wednesday has been teasing stuff from the new record, like its album artwork, which you can stare at longingly below.
Good to see Ocasek back at the knobs with Weezer. The Boston music legend produced Weezer’s Blue Album in 1994 and Green Album in 2001.
This upcoming album will be Weezer’s first since Hurley in 2010.
