So… the fucking Spin Doctors are playing a free show at City Hall Plaza this week

Two princes, one City Hall Plaza.

That’ll be the scene at Government Center on Wednesday as the fucking Spin Doctors will be playing a free show to celebrate the Hard Rock Cafe’s 25th anniversary.

It’s a free show, it starts at 7 p.m., and it’s all-ages. Just go ahead, now.

Wikipedia tells us that Chris Barron and his jam-band-gone-mainstream released a new record, If The River Was Whiskey, last year, but we’ll assume they stick to mostly hits at City Hall. And by hits we mean early-’90s alt-rock staples like “Two Princes” and “Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong.”

Between this show, which is co-presented by the Ames Hotel, Sam Adams, and Radio 92.9, and other recent concerts (Boston Calling, Dicky Barrett’s Birthday Bash), City Hall Plaza is turning into quite the hotspot.

Here’s the flyer, with some classic videos after the jump. You know you still know all the words.
