In honor of Paul Walker, who died earlier today, here is Vin Diesel singing Rihanna’s ‘Stay’

Word of Paul Walker’s untimely death spread Fast and Furious this evening, and to honor the fallen 40-year-old actor, here is his co-star, Vin Diesel, singing Rihanna’s “Stay” sometime — and for some reason — back in September.

The song has taken on a whole new meaning.

Walker and Diesel shared the stage in three The Fast And The Furious films, capped off with this year’s Fast & Furious 6.

To us, Walker will always be Lance Harbor, the star QB of Varsity Blues — perhaps the greatest movie MTV ever produced — who gets hurt and paves the way for James Van Der Beek’s character to achieve greatness. Harbor then goes on to replace Bud Kilmer as coach.

For more on Walker’s death, keep it locked to TMZ.
