Death Ray Vision announce East Coast tour to coincide with new record

Boston melodic hardcore band Death Ray Vision have announced a fall east coast tour with Acaro and Sworn Enemy to coincide with the release of their debut full-length record. The incredibly titled We Ain’t Leavin’ Till You’re Bleedin’ is out September 10 via Bullet Tooth, and while we don’t know the full run of tour dates just yet, the Massachusetts kick-off gig is locked in: September 14 at the Worcester Palladium that doubles up as a benefit show for Hurt Reynolds.

Check out a preview of Death Ray Vision’s new track “Barfly” on the Bullet Tooth summer sampler video below, checking in as the last clip around the 2:57 mark. It definitely kicks the shit out of the songs that play before it.

We Ain’t Leavin’ Till You’re Bleedin’ was produced by legendary hardcore boardman Dean Baltulonis (Sick Of It All, Agnostic Front), and is the follow-up to 2011’s recently re-released Get Lost Or Get Dead, which was originally recorded at Mad Oak in Allston.

For those not in the know, Death Ray Vision is a sort-of Voltron band made up of a handful of Boston metal veterans, including members of Killswitch Engage and Shadows Fall, former members of Overcast and Seemless, and Zack Wells, formerly of the Information (pill bands forever!) and booking agency/label Born of Fire. Some added background:

Current members of Killswitch Engage and Shadows Fall and ex members of Overcast and Cannae have combined forces in the new project DEATH RAY VISION. These veterans of the Boston metal scene play a raw brand of metallic hardcore that recaptures the energy of their old school hardcore roots infused with all they have learned and experienced as musicians over the past decade. The songs are short blasts of energy and intensity built on thrash metal rhythms and chugging guitar riffs. DEATH RAY VISION recalls the insanity of the old hardcore days while remaining focused on destroying the future.
